What IF

What If

After releasing all desires and attachments and progressing to a state of emotional freedom, then the last thread holding us back is going to be the 'what if'.

'What if' I spoke to that person, 'what if' I did that investment, 'what if' I took that trip?

Having achieved and completed all things, desires, plans, goals, the lingering attachment is wondering what would have happened if I took that chance that was given to me.

How to get rid of the what if?

Replace "What if?

with

"What IS"

There is always going to be a 'what if' so you have something to wonder and desire to find out and feel you missed so that you would be drawn back to this world and do not achieve freedom.

Wondering about what if keeps us trapped.

We must stay focused on 'what is' and forget about 'what if' by extrapolating the 'what if' event to its eventual end and ultimate suffering because of how it keeps us trapped and reality is, it's too late to go back so having regrets serves only one purpose, to keep us miserable and trapped in this ignorant state.
